Please be advised that a Fire Permit is required in the Village of Westport for a campfire ($7.50) and/or open air burn ($10). The open air permit requires 48 hours notice be provided to the Village before the burn occurs. This notice can be given by calling 613-273-2191 Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30. There is currently no burn ban in the Village of Westport. Permit Applications can be completed and returned to Town Hall where they will be issued and returned to by mail.

LEEDS AND GRENVILLE — Every Kid in our Communities (Everykid) Coalition will host their sixth annual “Recognition of Asset Builders” event on Wednesday June 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 via Zoom. This event will celebrate and honour organizations, businesses, and people who make a difference in the lives of children and youth- in other words they build assets!
