Vaccination Statistics
For individuals 5 plus, our first dose vaccination rate is 94.4%, and fully vaccinated rate is 91.2%
Vaccination rate for 5 to 11 is 64.4% with a first dose – 43.9% of children 5 to 11 have received a second dose.
Overall, for those 18 plus who are eligible for a third dose the rate is 69.5%
As of February 27, 2022 a total of 425,550 vaccinations have been administered in the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit (LGLDHU) region.

There are many appointments available. A list of upcoming clinics is available on our website. Walk ins are available at all clinics.
Brockville Vaccination clinic will be moving out of the current location by the end of March. A new location will be promoted.

From March 15 to 20, 2022, the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Health Unit will be bringing the Vaxi-Taxi to 14 locations throughout Leeds & Grenville and Lanark Counties to increase access to vaccination. A list of locations will be posted on our website this week.
Vaccination Information
Novavax Nuvaxovid COVID-19 vaccine - Canada.ca – If you are interested in getting this vaccine, contact our call centre at 1-844-369-1234. It will be available in late March
Medicago Covifenz COVID-19 vaccine - Canada.ca – this vaccine has been approved by Health Canada but there is no NACI statement yet. Availability is estimated for Summer 2022.
Proof of Vaccination
Thanks to Ontario’s high vaccination rates and key public health and health system indicators remaining stable or improving, effective March 1, 2022, Ontario will no longer require businesses and organizations to verify proof of vaccination or exemption for patrons to enter their establishment.
Businesses and organizations may choose to implement their own proof of vaccination policies or requirements after March 1, 2022.
The Verify Ontario app will continue to be made available for businesses and other settings that wish to continue using it.
